I stumbled upon this and thought it was pretty cool. John Green gives us 50 last words in 4 minutes. Maybe John Green used himself for a model for Pudgy?
There's bonus material in my book that talks about how John Green was also fascinated with last words, starting especially with President John Adams when he was twelve. It also explains how he too lived in Florida for some time and went to a boarding school in Alabama. It's interesting to see where authors draw from and how autobiographical most texts can be.
wow! thanks for that video. I loved hearing all of those last words from the funny to the deep. I had never really thought too much about last words until reading this book. After thinking more about them it is really interesting to hear them. Especially when famous authors have such ironic or everyday last quotes.
